"I am a very private person and I don’t normally ask for help. I was feeling so alone and despite for someone to listen to me. I asked the doctors office for help but they didn’t have a clue. My issue was bathing and arguing. Debra taught me how to handle all of these situations and more. She really knows her stuff."

"I can’t thank Debra enough. I was ready to give up and place my loved one in a nursing home. I decided to take a chance and reach out to Debra. It was the most amazing experience. She was able to ask questions and together we were able to discover what the real reason was behind my husbands’ violent outbursts. Using her teachings, I have been able to diffuse his anger and we now have a much better relationship. Thank you, Debra, for all you do!"

—Kathy N.

"I especially liked learning how to comfort someone with dementia. I used the validation and comforting techniques the same day that I learned them on the overnight shift, and it worked perfectly. The tools are so easy to implement. I was able to reassure the patient and calm her right down. It was amazing! I also learned how to handle a resident who was looking for a deceased loved one, it is so reassuring to have these techniques. I would take this class over and over again. It was so fun!"
